• iSA Intelligent Scene Analysis: A RGB+IR light sensor uses Canon’s Intelligent Tracking and Recognition system to identify and track subjects within a shot and adjusts the autofocus (AF) point accordingly.
• Anti-Flicker Function: Identifies the frequency as well as the phase of the flicker of a light source (such as fluorescent lighting) and captures the image at the most optimal time.
• Mirror Vibration Control System and Time Release Lag: The minute vibration caused by the impact of a DSLR’s mirror can result in some blurring. To combat this, Canon has developed a motor-controlled mirror for the EOS 5Ds R camera instead of traditional springs. The Time Release Lag further combats camera shake by delaying shutter release until any impact of the mirror’s vibration has completely dispersed.
• 3.2” ClearView II LCD Monitor & Intelligent Viewfinder II: Enjoy a bright, sharp display (more than a million dots) irrespective of shooting conditions. The intelligent Viewfinder II allows photographers to view and confirm settings without having to take their eyes off the viewfinder.
• Other notable features on the Canon EOS 5Ds R: 1.3x and 1.6x crop shooting, 1080p full HD 30p up to 30p or 720p HD video up to 60p, 5fps (frames per second) continuous shooting.
