The Stereo Video Microphone from Rhode, one of the leading names in audio recording, is ideal for a wide range of recording applications. The microphone features an integrated shock-mount and is flexible, easily mounted on a video camera or on a boom pole. To further increase mounting options and application flexibility, Rode include a versatile shoe mount for quick and easy attachment to a camera hot shoe.
The Rode Stereo Video Microphone is capable of true stereo x/y recording and displays superb signal to noise ration with efficient off-axis rejection. A -10dB pad also helps to reduce distortion while increasing headroom. Sound fidelity while recording is further enhanced thanks to a high-pass filter which eliminates noise below 80Hz to produce clearer sounds when recording in wind, close proximities or around constant noise produced by machinery. The microphone is internally powered with a standard 9 volt battery.
