Professional photographer, Richard Renaldi, has been working on this series of photographs that involve finding and asking complete strangers to pose intimately together for a portrait since 2007. Working on the street with a large format eight-by-ten-inch view camera, Renaldi encounters the subjects for his photographs in towns and cities all over the United States. The results are remarkable and make us realize just how much there is to gain from choosing to interact and connect with strangers instead of simply passing them by without a second glance.
