How Do I Place An Order On The Cameraland Website?

  • Select the product(s) you wish to purchase by clicking on “Add To Cart
  • Either continue shopping for additional products or click "Go to Cart"
  • Confirm your the products and the required quantities in your shopping cart - you also have a chance to apply any discount codes here. Click "Proceed to checkout" once you are satisfied
  • Login or register as a user by entering a valid email address and password
  • Enter your billing and shipping information, and then choose your preferred shipping method (Free delivery in Cape Town!)
  • Once satisfied (please double check all your order details), click "Place Order"
  • You will then be transferred to the PayU payment gateway where you will be able to pay for your order.
  • Please follow the on-screen instructions on the PayU gateway by choosing either credit card or instant EFT payment options.


What Payment Methods Do You Provide?

We use the latest generation of a secure online payment portal provided by PayU. Once you place your order you will be redirected to the PayU portal where you can pay for your order by credit card or instant EFT. Please note that your credit card must be 3D-secure enabled to process the transaction.

During the credit card checkout stage, when paying via credit card, you will be prompted to enter your pin or One Time Password/Pin which you should receive by SMS or e-mail (if you do not have this set up for online transactions you will need to contact your bank). This will stop fraudulent credit card attempts. Once you have entered in your pin correctly, your transaction will be processed.

How Long Does It Take For You To Deliver?

For most popular items this is 1-2 days from the point at which you have paid for your purchase and your payment has cleared with us.Please note the cut-off time for next day deliveries (main areas only) is 14:00 Monday - Thursday. Items ordered on Fridays will be the following week. Some bulkier items are sent via a less expensive but slower delivery method and take 5-7 days. 

Whilst every effort is made to provide accurate estimates for delivery times, Cameraland is not liable for any delays in delivery that occur as a result of our preferred courier partners scheduling.  For certain items we require stock to be delivered to us first by the supplier and this can take about 2-5 days. Please be aware that the accuracy of these times are subject to availability of stock from our suppliers.


Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of pricing and product information. Instances may arise in which a product(s) are priced incorrectly on the website or where the product information supplied is inaccurate. Cameraland will not be held bound by the incorrect price(s) in cases where such error(s) occur.

Due to fluctuations in exchange rates and consequent variances in our local suppliers’ pricing, as well as the occurrence of periodic supplier price increases, Cameraland cannot guarantee that the price at which an item is backordered will be the price at which the goods will be sold once stock has landed in South Africa. In these instances Cameraland will either refund the total amount already paid, or should the client still wish to purchase the product, said client will be liable for the difference in price.

If I Damage The Product Is The Warranty Void?

It depends on the warranty, some products carry lifetime guarantees against all kinds of abuse, but for most products, especially electronics, once you damage the product, the warranty is void. This excludes normal wear and tear. The product will need to be assessed by the supplier to determine whether the warranty has been voided.
